BEJOYFL

Since my father has stopped driving (at 92) I’ve decided to register my Kansas plates in honor of the tag he had on his car for many years. I think he had this tag in various spellings in Kansas, Missouri, and Ohio.

For my father, a retired Presbyterian minister this message is closely tied to his faith. For me, the secular meaning will have to suffice.

I’ve probably picked the worst time to try and uphold this exhortation. Personal and world events are making it a real challenge. It will be good to have this regular reminder.

Looking forward to washing the Winter off the car too.
