Unrestful

Sunday is not feeling like a day of rest. At least not for my mind.

Woke up this morning with an extra hour of evening daylight in my pocket. But I'm still living in a country that wants to block out the sun in lands I'll never visit.

School children are dead from a US double-tap strike on a school because evil men and women want to kill, kill, kill.
We've handed our minds over to thinking machines that don't think very well. "Here is a building you should bomb..."

Our leaders are filled with hubris. "How could I have become so impossibly wealthy if I didn't deserve it? God has chosen me to complete his plan. After all, I am made in his image." God must be weak, capricious, and full of hate."

Those of us who don't want this kind of world, are we like Ents? How much destruction are we willing to put up with before rage drives us to march on Isengard?
