Skipping Over the Same Old Shit

I wake this morning realizing that I'm no longer interested in fighting back. The old model of American democracy is dead.

Brutally slain by Donald Trump and sordid perversions of the American right wing and assisted in the act by the spineless "opposition." There is no way to defend the moral standing of a country whose leader is ok with gleeful about bombing a school full of children,...twice.

Fighting forward is the only way now. Assuming an election even takes place this November, I will not be voting for more of the same pre-Trumpian nonsense that brought about our demise. If the best we can suggest to lead us forward is a preening centrist capitalist apologist like Gavin Newsom, then I'm out.

Accepting the lesser evil just to preserve the shoddy remnants of a dead system is no kind of political movement.
