Psychedelic Freak Out

My seven year old self was of course oblivious to what was happening in the rock world’s Summer of Love. Many of us have gone back and embedded that music into the grain, the soundtrack of our lives. Sgt. Pepper’s came out that year. The Doors were coming on. The Stones, The Who.

Since you know that music, you can do this experiment. Put yourself in the midst of those sounds. Pop and rock are quickly evolving, and you’re on the crest of it. Then all of a sudden you hear this.

Holy Hell. Freak out indeed.
